| [ November 2007 ] 56th American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) - Philadelphia, USA / DNDi's Symposium on ACT Sanofi-aventis and DNDi held a symposium about the implementation of a new artemisinin combination therapy (ACT) in African endemic countries. Over 120 attendees from NGOs, academia, and the pharmaceutical sector were an audience to FACT project partners’ presentations on ASAQ and ASMQ. Besides that, DNDi also presented on the ethical considerations of malaria field studies, and on the screening of natural products against infectious disease pathogens.
