American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) - Atlanta
DNDi participated in two symposiums at the ASTMH in Atlanta.
In the sessions, DNDi discussed about the challenges on the R&D of new drugs for Sleeping sickness, and about the FACT and Public and Private Partnerships in R&D for malaria.

2nd DNDi Africa Meeting - Nairobi
Over 200 African scientists from 34 countries met in Nairobi, Kenya, from 19 to 23 September at an international conference organised by the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) to engender greater regional research partnership to combat the most neglected diseases such as sleeping sickness, kala azar and malaria.
