DNDi Project Team: Rob Don, Discovery & Preclinical Director and Head of HAT Discovery & Preclinical Program Start date: Proposal for 2011 start Objective: To evaluate flubendazole as a macrofilaricide clinical candidate for the treatment of onchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis in areas where loiasis is coendemic. This involves formulation development and safety and efficacy studies. |
