Research

Chagas Research 1

A pharmacist prepares a paediatric dose of benznidazole by cutting and crushing an adult tablet into as many as to 12 portions, in the Hospital de Niños, Argentina. Children can benefit from this treatment, but only adult doses are currently available. In the near future DNDi will launch a paediatric formulation of benznidazole, making the treatment safer and more efficacious for children with Chagas disease. ©João Roberto Ripper / DNDi
