PRIVACY

DNDi is committed to the protection of personal information.

DNDi collects information on the number of website visitors and access patterns.  This information is used by DNDi to understand how the website is used and how the website can be improved.

DNDi does not collect any personal information from you when you visit our website unless you choose to provide such information to us or by way of cookies (as specified herebelow). You will be required to provide DNDi with personal information when signing up for a user account, making a donation, subscribing to newsletters or if you apply for jobs.

Any personal information collected by DNDi is only used for DNDi’s internal purposes, for the specific reason you submitted the personal information or as otherwise authorised by you.  DNDi does not share user information with third parties other than where required by law or as specified here below, nor will DNDi use your contact information for other purposes than specified. You have the right to ask for the access to, amendment or deletion of your personal information at any time. To this effect, please contact DNDi using feedback@dndi.org.

All reasonable steps are taken by DNDi to ensure that all information is treated confidentially and kept secure and protected against unauthorized use, modification or disclosure.

We employ industry standard techniques such as firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection, and website monitoring to protect your personal information from unauthorized access by users inside and outside the organization. You should be aware, however, that perfect security does not exist on the Internet; third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.

We collect some information automatically from visitors to the website, for example through the use of "cookies", "web beacons", and other tracking mechanisms. We collect at least the following: your domain name and host for Internet access; the Internet address of the website from which you came; the date and time of your access; your computer's IP address and information about its operating system, browser and host; the date and time you access the website and the pages you visit. If you do not want to receive cookies, you may set your browser to reject them. However, if you turn cookies off, you may not have access to some of the website's services and features. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you access the website. We also may employ Web beacons from third parties to help us compile statistics on the operation of the website and provide additional features.
