Carolina Batista, Head of Access & Medical Affairs, DNDi Latin America
Dr Carolina Batista joined DNDi Latin America as the Regional Medical Manager in 2014.
For several years, Dr Batista has worked with public health and tropical diseases in various contexts in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. In the last years she has progressively focused her work with Neglected Tropical Diseases, most recently as the director of the Brazilian Medical Unit at the MSF office in Brazil.
Dr Batista graduated as a medical doctor in Brazil and has earned her advanced degrees in international health and management at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel and at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp.
