Jana Jauffret is a senior professional from the development sector, she specialized in organizational development/strategic HR and in program operations and management. For the past 16 years Jana has been working in international organizations based in Geneva. Jana joined DNDi as Human Resources and Organization Director in June 2016.
Prior to joining DNDi, Jana spent the past 10 years working for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN). She occupied several key roles during her employment with GAIN such as the Director for Organizational Development and Governance, overseeing the HR and Organizational Development function from 2013 to 2016 and the GAIN Board Secretariat from 2006 to 2016. During most of this period she was part of GAIN’s executive management committee overseeing the management of the organization. Before GAIN, she worked for the International Organization for Migration as the Secretary of the Staff Association, and in that role was very active in representing staff issues to management.
Jana holds an Executive MBA in International Management from Geneva University. She also holds a License Droit, Economie, Gestion, Mention Economie et Gestion, Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche, Université de Savoie, République Française and a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis on Economics from Webster University, Bellevue, Switzerland. In 1998 she received the Award for Academic Leadership in Business, 1997/98, from Webster University. She is currently enrolled in a Harvard University professional certification programme. She is bilingual English and French, and of Swiss and Macedonian nationality.
