Thomas Saugnac, Operations Director, DNDi
Thomas Saugnac is responsible for operational coordination throughout the organization and directly coordinates DNDi’s international infrastructure, business development, finance, human resources, and administration.
Prior to joining DNDi, Thomas spent 12 years with Ernst & Young, where he served in different roles at the international level in management consulting, marketing and business development with a focus on life sciences, entrepreneurship and not-for-profit management.
He has been a consultant for many pharmaceutical companies (Pfizer, Novartis, GSK,UCB, BMS) on a variety of business issues, including access to medicines, emerging markets and CSR strategies. In addition, he has advised public and not-for-profit organizations (such as patient associations, R&D institutes and health agencies), entrepreneurs, and funders of innovation on strategic planning, audit and evaluations, governance and risk management, organizational transformation, and alliances. From 1993 to 1999, Thomas worked for the City of Paris at the Office of the Mayor and as COO of the Paris Development Agency, designing and implementing international economic development and innovation public policies.
Thomas earned a Master’s Degree in Management from ESCP Europe business school and graduated in Public Management and Finance.
